“An always serious artist, Esa-Pekka Salonen has learned that there is no shame in entertaining an audience” (The New Yorker). And entertain us, he will—with a fully cast production of Stravinsky’s mythical melodrama Perséphone directed by the one and only Peter Sellars.
The NSO is also proud to present the world premiere of the fully orchestrated version of FOG, Salonen’s 90th birthday tribute to Frank Owen Gehry, architect of the LA Philharmonic’s iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall.
