Singing is an elemental human experience that connects us to others and the music within ourselves. Many choral classics are designed for a choir with a wide vocal range. Choral Arts Executive Director Tad Czyzewski talks with Dr. Thea Kano of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC (GMCW) and Dr. C. Paul Heins of GMCW’s GenOUT Youth Chorus about the voices in their ensembles, how they adapt repertoire, and how they help their singers grow as individuals and performers.
