In his last project, Choral Arts Founder Norman Scribner carefully selected twenty hymns by Charles Wesley for a dual language recording in English and Spanish through a project with the Wesley Heritage Foundation. After his unexpected death in March 2015, Choral Arts completed this project with the Choral Arts Chamber Singers recording those twenty hymns in July 2015, engineered by Sono Luminous with distribution by Naxos. In celebration of the upcoming CD release, the Chamber Singers will perform a selection of these hymns in each language accompanied by anthems and organ works by his descendants, Samuel Wesley and Samuel Sebastian Wesley.
