As an ambassador choir, Choral Arts is proud to continue its tradition of cultural diplomacy in the 2026-2027 season in partnership with the Embassy of Germany. Ahead of Choral Arts’ tour to Germany, partners from the Munich Madrigalchor will travel to Washington, D.C. to create music with us in our special Spring Collaboration Concert, full program to be determined.
The Madrigalchor of the University of Music and Theatre Munich is one of the central ensembles of our university and has been directed by Prof. Martin Steidler since 2008. Every year, around 60-70 selected students perform great works of the European choral tradition at the highest level, including rarely performed or contemporary repertoire.
