Our return to live performance!
The Choral Arts Society of Washington‘s Symphonic Chorus celebrates their return to live performance with a concert showcasing the power of connection through the human voice. In this a cappella concert, the unaccompanied voices of the Symphonic Chorus will reverberate in the chambers of the heart, enveloping us in waves of sound that change us from within.
Renowned mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Bishop joins the chorus for Aaron Copland’s In the Beginning, originally scheduled for our May 2020 program.
Alberto Ginastera: Lamentations of Jeremiah
Anton Bruckner: Os Justi and Locus Iste

Arr. Moses Hogan: My Soul’s Been Anchored
Lela Anderson: Give Me Jesus
R. Nathaniel Dett: Ave Maria
Adolphus Hailstork: Nocturne
R. Nathaniel Dett: Listen to the Lambs
