Mid-Year Audition Sessions (Group Format)

Tuesday, February 3

7:00-7:50pm Soprano/Alto (limit 25)
8:00-8:50pm Tenor/Bass (limit 25)

Information for Singers / What to Expect
  • A Dropbox link with this info sheet and the excerpts to prepare has been created. Go to – 2025-2026 Season Audition Materials
  • Singers should sign up for 1 session: a 45-50 minute time block.
  • Each session can accommodate up to 25 singers of the voice parts designated for the time block.
  • Singers will need to prepare two excerpts from a large work:
    1. Vaughn Williams, Dona Nobis Pacem – Mvmt II; 8 before reh. 7 to end.
    2. Duruflé Requiem – Mvmt IV; pick-up to reh. 46 to the end of the movement.
  • In the group setting, the Artistic Director will listen to these excerpts and do some light sight reading, voice pairings and hear individuals. Sight reading excerpts will be provided during the session.

Our Ensembles

The Choral Arts Symphonic Chorus is comprised of professional caliber volunteer Choral Arts singers.

The Choral Arts Chamber Ensemble is a project-based group comprised of singers from the Symphonic Chorus that audition to be chosen from a roster based on the needs of each concert.
